Our Cottages

We hope you will find a property to suit your needs here. We have an amazingly wide choice within this very small and secluded area at the mouth of the Helford River. These range from a truly luxurious house on the river bank at Helford to some very stylish newly renovated properties around Gillan Creek, a Farm House with associated barn and cottage conversions at St. Anthony and even an authentic showman’s gypsy caravan in an absolutely stunning position on edge of the creek. Pets are welcome in most properties, though we do also have some which are pet-free.

We hire sailing and rowing dinghies, as well as motor boats and kayaks. Those with their own boats will find easy launching with a tractor on site, moorings and large dinghy and trailer parks. We also have our own professional craftsmen for any running repairs.

St Anthony aerial view

Holiday homes at St Anthony-in-Meneage, around Gillan Creek and at Helford village. St. Anthony is one of the most attractive waterside hamlets on the Cornish coast. Enchanting location on the Helford River, comfortable cottages and unique boating and sailing facilities all combine to make this one of the very best holiday destinations in Cornwall for those in need of quiet recharge of batteries, a hassle-free boat-centred break or a secure environment in which children may enjoy freedom afloat or ashore in safety. We are really hidden away, and as far removed from the bustle of town or city as is possible to find in Cornwall.

As a family we have been catering for holidaymakers for over 100 years at St. Anthony and our experience and knowledge of the area is unrivalled. The old farm buildings surrounding the lovely candle-lit church have been converted into holiday homes, and we also act as agents for a number of select cottages and houses in the immediate area. We are now seeing the fourth generation of some regular family visitors introducing their own children to the beach and creek. St. Anthony can become a part of a family’s DNA. The creek is idyllic for young ones, with safe swimming and boating at high water, and mud-free shrimping, crabbing and rock-pooling when the tide is out.
